«7 Principles of a True Winner»
Pastor Andrey Shapovalov
Over the years, I have developed an interesting list of personal rules that I have discovered for myself, and today I want to share them with you.
1. Do you have the courage to openly pursue what you secretly believe in?
The question is: do you want to die simply as a dreamer? Personally, I do not.
Unfortunately, most of God’s children leave this life without ever stepping into what God has placed within them.
Understand this, dear ones: successful people are very courageous people! Success will irritate those around you. Are you ready for that?
People will leave you because of your success, because you no longer resemble them.
Success will always separate you from the crowd.
People never talk about those who never win; they always talk about the winners.
My wife and I also had to lose many close people because we refused to be like them.
2. Allow yourself to see and think greatly about yourself, no matter what.
Change your mindset.
Almost everything flows from our consciousness, which creates our reality.
Thinking is a choice.
Who are you in your own mind? Answer this question.
Do you allow yourself to see greatness within you? Have you permitted yourself to think wonderful things about yourself?
Sadly, God’s children often do the opposite, we spend our entire lives trying to change how others think about us while never changing how we think about ourselves. That is absurd.
Make a decision right now: to think, speak, and see yourself as successful and victorious. Completely reject the need to live for the opinions of others.
3. Do not be afraid to break other people’s rules and traditions.
I am not talking about breaking the law I mean that people have created countless human rules and traditions.
Jesus and His disciples constantly broke the Pharisees rules and customs.
David broke all the rules of warfare and brought victory to his people.
Moses defied all of Pharaoh’s decrees and led his people to freedom.
Esther broke the king’s rule by entering his presence uninvited, and through this act, she saved her nation.
I have reached this place and achieved unique victories because, years ago, I broke and defied all religious rules and traditions and stepped into my destiny.
In other words, if you see successful athletes, businessmen, ministers, apostles, etc., all of them, at some point in their lives, broke the rules set by people.
4. Position yourself for success.
If you remember the parable of the sower who sowed good seed, you will understand that the story is not about the seed or the sower, but about the environment and the soil.
The question is: are you in the right soil?
To answer that, you must consider whether you are in the right place and among the right people.
You cannot be in a thorny, rocky, or hardened environment and expect God’s seed in you to bear fruit.
We need to be in a place and a spiritual family that supports, helps, loves, and nurtures us in our growth in God.
And even if you do not have such a family right now, find at least one person who will support you.
The seed is always good, but the success of that seed depends on the soil and the environment.
5. Leave your comfort zone.
Where comfort begins, all progress dies.
Personally, I always have to break out of my comfort zone and take the next step into the unknown.
Understand that my comfort zone will always be different from yours.
No matter what risk I take, over time I get used to it, and it becomes comfortable.
Never stop doing things that scare you or feel unfamiliar.
Never stop doing things that make you nervous or excited because that proves you are living outside your comfort zone.
Progress, success, and victory are always found outside the comfort zone.
6. Do not be afraid or ashamed to use what you have.
Speaking of David he had only a slingshot, and with it, he accomplished everything.
Moses had only a staff, but with it, he fulfilled his destiny.
Never be embarrassed or ashamed of what God has given you, no matter how unpopular it may be to others.
Remember, you and I already have enough within us to step into our destinies.
The Father has already placed in us everything we need.
To this day, I continue using my slingshot and it has never let me down.
7. Run toward your destiny.
Destiny is where your true fulfillment and peace lie.
I tried to avoid it, ignore it, and pursue something else, but every time, I felt terrible not because God was tormenting me, but because there was a calling and a destiny on my life that would not let me rest.
There is an interesting American saying: It’s better to aim for the stars and hit the moon than never to aim at all.
There is something inside those who have a destiny a very uncomfortable feeling.
Living with God’s destiny is uncomfortable because something always pulls you forward.
You want to rest, even for a little while, but you cannot the fire in your bones will not let you stop.
And the truth is, you will only feel truly at peace when you are running toward your calling and destiny.
I have realized one thing: When I do what I was born to do, do I feel true peace, rest, and fulfillment.
May our Heavenly Father bless you!
