“Unjust God”
Pastor Andrey Shapovalov
I have always had a question, why does God treat everyone differently? If there is one law, then why doesn't God treat everyone the same?
If you think about it, why does the Father treat everyone completely differently? Some may say that God is not fair, but he is!
We will never be able to understand God until we understand His relationship with us and who He wants us to be.
Why does God treat people completely differently, for example, David was forgiven for very serious sins and crimes over and over again, while at the same time King Saul was not forgiven even for his single disobedience.
Main reason is: What position have you put God in? Who Hi is to you?
Because God is fair to the position we put Him in.
Why does he give mercy after mercy to one, but not to another? Because only a father has such an attitude towards his children, and if people do not have this relationship.
Please Understand that His position and attitude towards you is determined not by him, but by you. You set the rules.
Understand that all promises, Glory, Power, Atmosphere, Inheritance, etc. do not apply to slaves and orphans. God deals with them according to their position.
His relationship and His promises work only, when you are family.
And if we do not understand this simple truth, we will not be able to understand what God wants from us.
God is fair regarding the position you choose in relation to Him.
Understand that the Heavenly Father wants a family relationship, but not everyone desires real relationship. Because sonship requires a close walk and relationship with the Father.
It is allot easier for people to have a “boss” or owner, who has only limited requirements with them, after fulfilling which, a person feels free and can live his own life independent of God.
But in this case, the person is not a family, and therefore has no right to count on the benefits of family relationship.
In reality, the Father cannot have a relationship with slaves, servants and orphans, He gave His Only Son, not just to save you, but to bring you back in to His family.
If we carefully look at God and His relationship with man in the Bible, we will be convinced that this is a family relationship.
The Bible is full of family terminology, Father, sons, daughters, heirs, Bride of Christ, etc. These are all family terms.
Even when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, His words began with: “OUR Heavenly Father.” God has already chosen his position regarding us, from the beginning of creation, He is the Father and has proven His love towards us.
But we all have to make this choice. And we make a choice only on the basis of revelation about who God is in relation to us.
(Matthew 16:13-20) "Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist but others Elijah and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my Father in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Then he sternly ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah." (NRSV)
The rock on which Jesus will build his Church is precisely on the Father's revelation to his children who Jesus is. (Only Heavenly Father can reveal who Jesus is) HE IS A SON.
This is the stone, a personal relationship with the Father, and only children can have this.
Why did Jesus forbid his disciples to say that He was the Christ and Messiah? Because it is revealed by the Father Himself and not by man (flesh and blood).
People say "God is merciful" yes! but understand that mercy extends to everyone, but the benefits and inheritance, belongs only to His children, with whom God has a family connection and close relationship.
All others fall into one of many categories that they chose and God treats them accordingly.
I'll ask you a question, who is He to you? What exactly is your relationship with Him?
Jesus asked his disciples the question, “Who am I to you?”
Yes, You are saved, but are you a son?
Remember Jesus told a story about older and younger sons, the older one chose to be and to think as a slave, and father had to remind him, that everything belongs to him.
Understand that He did not choose this position, you put Him in this position.
In my family, I am mentally connected with everyone and my children and they all automatically fall under my favor, provision, inheritance, love and mercy.
And Yes You can say that I treat others unfairly, but this is not true, because I act and behave with people based on our relationships.
That is, inside my house, mercy is one thing, but outside the walls of my house, mercy is completely different, but in both cases I am fair.
My dream is to help all those who are saved make a choice, enter the family of Heavenly Father and become a true son.
May our Heavenly Father Bless you!
